Ricardo Tolay ran 8.400@178mph to become the quickest active FWD VW in the USA
(Ed Woolsey of FFE ran 8.31 in his MK4 a year before, unfortunately the car was lost in a crash.)
Ricardo also won the VW Heritage Series Outlaw Class 2 times!
James Castellano ran a best of 8.450@179mph, and unfortunately he crashed in 2019 before going faster.
Mike Pauciullo ran a best of 8.60@178mph so far in the SB Parts Direct MK4 "Black rat"

James Castellano of CSP brings the CSP Shop car to Waterfest and goes 10.007@158mph on the second full pass! The car is a MK3 with a 2.5 liter 5 cylinder Rabbit engine, CSP Intake and Exhaust manifolds, Precision 67/66 turbo, Lugtronic ecu, built by CSP and Zarpspeed. Congrats!
Tim Mullen ran a new personal best of 9.18@164mph at the True Street Class at the MIR IREV event. This is a new Record for ANY 12v VR6 powered vehicle!
Tim Mullen ran a new personal best of 9.36 at the True Street Class at the MIR World Cup Finals event. This is a new Record for ANY 12v VR6 powered vehicle! Tim advanced to the third round of competition in the event. Todd Pavics ran a 9.27@163 but did not advance in the insanely fast Super Street class.
Todd Pavics shattered his personal best to run a best of 9.14@163mph at the Fall Nationals event at E_Town, NJ.
Todd's 2.0 20v turbo engine is now running Staged Injection (4 ID1000cc and 4 Bosch 1680cc) using the Lugtronic VEMS ECU and Custom Wire Harness to make it all work together.
Todd's been the SFWD VW Record holder for several years now and is constantly raising (lowering?) the bar.
Tim Mullen finished in 5th place in the ultra-competitive SFWD Triple Crown Series. Congrats to all!
Todd Pavics and Tim Mullen qualified #1-2 with a 9.39@159mph and a 9.55@155mph respectively, at the Fall IREV Event at MIR. Todd ran 2 more 9.4's and advanced to the 3rd round of competition, and Tim advanced to the Finals and won the event!

Tim Mullen ran several 10.1 runs, a new best of 10.09, and went over 149 mph. Again with the (1/6th refreshed) stock piston/rod VR6. Congrats!

Todd Pavics 1.8t MK3 won the Heads-up Class and ran 10.29, 10.35, 10.36, at up to 148 mph.
Tim Mullen ran 10.3 and over 145 mph with the stock piston/rod VR6 before it finally gave up the ghost.

Team Lugtronic's Todd Pavics ABA/16v MK3 smashes into the 9's with a 9.73 at 151 mph and 9.87 at 155 mph!
Todd qualified #11 out of 45 cars in the True Street class at the MIR World Cup Finals.
Team Lugtronic's Todd Pavics ABA/16v MK3 ran 10.06 at 151 mph. He also ran a 10.20 at 153 mph and a 10.12 lifting, and qualified and competed in the SFWD Class at the 2010 Fall Nationals.
This is a with a 62mm turbo (True Street) set-up in a class that allows 72mm turbos.
